We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Science Technician to join our dynamic Science Department starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of engaging, practical science education in a well-respected secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up and maintain equipment for practical science lessons

Support teaching staff during demonstrations and practical sessions

Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Manage stock and order supplies as required

Assist with the development of teaching materials and resources
The ideal candidate will have:

A background in science (GCSEs or higher in relevant subjects)

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A proactive and flexible approach to supporting staff and students

An understanding of health and safety in a laboratory environment

Previous experience in a school setting (desirable, not essential)
