Science Technician – Secondary School – Durham
We are working with a mixed 11-19 secondary school who is seeking a Science Technician to join their Science department in January on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year with a view to going permanent in September.
The Role
The role will include sampling, measuring and recording data as well as preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment. The will also be an expectation to ensure that health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have
- A science degree or equivalent
- Strong science background
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work in a team and independently
- Dynamic, enthusiastic and energetic
The School
The school received ‘Outstanding’ on their latest Ofsted and has an excellent science department. The school is close to an underground and main line station and easy reach to Central London.
