HR Administrator – Secondary School (South London)
£100-£115 per day (Temporary Contract)
We are currently working with a vibrant and well-respected secondary school in South London, who are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key role in the smooth running of the school's HR operations.
The Role:
As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across the school's HR function. Key duties will include:
- Assisting with recruitment processes, from placing job adverts to coordinating interviews and preparing offer letters.
- Managing the onboarding process for new starters and handling leaver documentation.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies.
- Monitoring staff absences and assisting with payroll preparation.
- Responding to general HR queries and supporting the HR Manager with day-to-day tasks.
- Keeping HR files and systems up to date, ensuring compliance with school policies and employment law.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar HR administrative role, ideally within a school or education setting.
- A solid understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, safeguarding, and compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
