Location: Primary School in Newcastle
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant with a passion for education? Our client, a primary school in Newcastle, is seeking a dedicated and efficient Administrative Assistant to join their team.
About the Role: This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of the school’s daily operations. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth running of the school office and contributing to a positive environment for both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle general office administration, including managing phone calls, emails, and parent inquiries.
- Maintain accurate student records and assist with data entry into the school’s management systems.
- Coordinate and support school events, meetings, and communications.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Headteacher and other staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures in all administrative tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with staff, students, and parents.
