We are working with a thriving school in County Durham who is looking for an Exams Officer. The school prides itself on its caring ethos and the support it provides to its learners.

Average 37 hrs per week, term-time only plus three weeks (48.4 weeks per year)

NJC points 19 - 21 £29,777 - £30,825 (pro-rata)

As an Examinations Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the school's examination process. Your duties as an Examinations Officer will include:

Liaising with colleagues to enter learners for examinations 

Coordinating the submission of coursework to examination boards

Working alongside the SENCO to organise the SEN provision and ensure that learners are not disadvantaged during the exam process 

Working with colleagues to produce predicted grades  Organising examination materials Receiving and securely storing examination papers.

To be successful as an Examinations Officer, you should possess:

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to take initiative 
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues 
  • Excellent communication skills
