Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the attendance officer in monitoring student attendance ensuring that accurate records for all students.
- Following up on and contacting parents or guardians regarding relevant matters.
- Assisting with attendance reports and making note of any patterns or concerns related to student attendance.
- Handling of attendance policies and enforce the school’s attendance policies.
- Working closely with teachers, counsellors, and school leadership to identify students regarding poor attendance, and develop strategies to improve student engagement and attendance.
Key Requirements:
- Previous administration experience is essential (preferably within a school) as well as GCSE English and Maths.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of MIS systems, particularly SIMS, is desirable.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide others and respond effectively, even in high-pressure situations.
- Strong work ethic and professional communication skills.
- Provide exceptional support all staff and students alike.
